Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) has recently celebrated an important milestone in its decarbonisation project after the delivery and installation of Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs) and Water Source Heat Pumps (WSHPs) on campus.

The installation is a crucial part of AUB’s plan to lower fossil fuel use on the campus and provide a clean and efficient heat energy supply by heating water using renewable energy.

Project overview

GDL worked closely with the main contractor Morgan Sindall Construction to help deliver the project for the University.

The brief was to hide the plant whist offering access and acoustic properties in some areas.
